Urban Decay Electric Palette

So, Urban Decay's Electric palette has been out for a while, but I never really jumped at it to buy it. Until 2 weeks ago. I have to say, it's changed the game. It allows me to step out of my comfort zone and actually be creative by using colour. 

I feel like we stick to the neturals or makeup we are comfortable with and forget that makeup is there to also be creative and inspire. The colours in the palette did freak me out a little bit, however once I sat down and actually had a play with it, I managed to come up with a few looks (one of the looks I have posted below).

The colours are very pigmented, however the silver is a bit of a let down (unless you wet your brush) and the purple I found to not be that pigmented. But all in all, the rest of the colours are very bright and pigmented.

I heard that some colours can be staining, but I haven't noticed that. I'm not too sure if that's because I had a base/primer or not, but I had no issues. 

I also find this palette is great if you want to add a pop of colour into your look. A nice smokey eye with a pop of the yellow in the inner corner, or using the bright blue on the lower lids. I feel like this palette is versatile, even though it's not neutrals, but with the amount of looks that are possible to create with it.
